A spherical lens

Hi, friends! It is my pleasure to write this for you. Today, we are going to discuss a very special and interesting topic – the spherical lens. The عدسة كروية from NOAIDA are small and round and made of a clear piece of glass or plastic. It has a distinctive bulging shape on both sides. A prism is shaped in a specific way, which enables the lens to refract light rays passing through it. Light passing through a curved lens can converge (come together in a single spot) or appears to diverge (spread out and move apart). Each spherical lens has two significant sides. This side, the convex side, bulges out like a ball. The reverse side, known as the concave side, curves inwards, like the inside of a bowl. This is a very special shape, as it is useful in understanding the function of lenses.

How a spherical lens refracts light?

It turns out that as light passes through a spherical lens, it will bend due to its shape. This is called refraction — the bending of rays of light as they pass from one medium to another. It happens because when the light enters the lens, it gets slowed down, which makes it change direction. This is very important because it allows the lens to direct light rays to the correct spot on the back of your eye. This will help you see things clearly. A NOAIDA convex lens, which is round in shape and bulges outward, converges light rays to a point of focus. In contrast, a concave lens, which curves inward, diverges the light rays. And this is simply how things like lenses relate to our ability to have vision problems such as being able to be more far sighted than near sighted or vice versa.
